Hey guys! Sorry I haven’t posted for so long but welcome to my first post of Fall 2018! I’m so stoked to finally have some cooler weather because it has been SO hot and sunny here. I’m also super hyped for Halloween which is one of my favorite holidays! One of my favorite things about Fall is being able to wear a lot more black, and dark colors in general. So this week I’m wearing one of my favorite hats which is a black fedora from Forever 21. This hat is great because it goes with everything, goes with any hair color, and makes most of my outfits look a little better. I found this purple lace cami on sale from Abercrombie and it has become one of my favorite tops. I like how simple it is, and purple is one of my favorite colors to wear! I paired it with these super comfortable, black and gray striped, wide-leg pants from Kohls, and tan block heels.
Thanks for reading! Happy Fall!
This week I’m wearing my favorite pair of striped pants from Forever 21. I have actually had these for a couple of weeks but I haven’t had the chance to feature them yet. I really love the colors and the cut of these and I think they are perfect for summer. I paired them with sunny yellow heels from the brand Chase&Chloe, a black flowy cami top from the brand Mason + Mackenzie, and a simple gold elephant necklace from Forever 21.
Welcome to my first post of summer! So I actually made this skirt from a pattern I got at Joann’s with some help from my grandma! I wanted a skirt that was bohemian, and went with most of my tops. I like the fabric because it’s very lightweight and comfortable, and I really like the color. I paired it with an embroidered lace-up crop top from the brand Chloah, a red faux leather fannypack, and red faux leather sandals from the brand Universal Thread.
I don’t always like to carry a purse – usually I opt for a backpack instead. I got this backpack for Christmas and it is my favorite bag. It’s by Fjallraven. I love how durable it is and how it can hold so much stuff despite looking kind of small. I love the colors on it and thought they would match this strawberry print dress perfectly. My dress is from Forever 21 and I think it’s perfect for summer. I paired it with my favorite pair of white high top Converse.
Do you always carry a purse? If you do, tell me style and brand is your favorite!
This week I am super excited to be collaborating with Fin Fun Mermaid! The tail I am wearing is the new Brynn’s Celtic Green. I paired this tail with a bright magenta top, and some hemp bracelets. I absolutely love the color and design of this tail; it is a beautiful bright green color in and out of the water. The fabric is very comfortable and easy to move around in. The monofin is very durable, and moves through the water very smoothly. The tail itself has such a beautiful pattern and is very detailed, plus their customer service is great and they are amazing to work with. I am really looking forward to going swimming in this beautiful tail this summer! To purchase from FinFun, use my discount code – “finfun5”.
Since it is starting to get warmer outside, there are a lot of music festivals coming up. Often, music festivals like Coachella (which just took place), heavily influence trends for the next season. For this week’s outfit I’m wearing this Woodstock t-shirt I found from the brand Mighty Fine. Woodstock was one of the first/largest music festivals and took place in 1969. I paired the shirt with wide leg, chambray pants from SO, a sun necklace from Claire’s, and a red leather bracelet from Etsy. I decided to not wear shoes for this post and opted for nail polish instead. I’m wearing Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear in the shade “Sun Kissed”.
Also, Happy Earth Day! 🙂
Welcome to my first lifestyle/DIY post! I’m going to be posting more lifestyle/DIY posts soon – along with my fashion posts. For this post, I’m focusing on gardening. I love spring and one of my favorite things to do in spring is garden. I’ll be sharing some pics of my garden, and a DIY for these super easy plant markers! I love to grow as many indoor plants as possible and I love flowers, so I’m super excited to start growing this package of California Poppy seeds I found! The plant markers are super easy to make.
Step 1: Find some acrylic paints in your favorite colors.
Step 2: Using a paintbrush, blend the colors together while wet.
Step 3: After the plant markers have dried you can use a permanent marker to label them. The total cost for this project can be less than $3!
