Welcome to my first post of summer! So I actually made this skirt from a pattern I got at Joann’s with some help from my grandma! I wanted a skirt that was bohemian, and went with most of my tops. I like the fabric because it’s very lightweight and comfortable, and I really like the color. I paired it with an embroidered lace-up crop top from the brand Chloah, a red faux leather fannypack, and red faux leather sandals from the brand Universal Thread.
Since it is starting to get warmer outside, there are a lot of music festivals coming up. Often, music festivals like Coachella (which just took place), heavily influence trends for the next season. For this week’s outfit I’m wearing this Woodstock t-shirt I found from the brand Mighty Fine. Woodstock was one of the first/largest music festivals and took place in 1969. I paired the shirt with wide leg, chambray pants from SO, a sun necklace from Claire’s, and a red leather bracelet from Etsy. I decided to not wear shoes for this post and opted for nail polish instead. I’m wearing Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear in the shade “Sun Kissed”.
Also, Happy Earth Day! 🙂
Even though this is our first post of spring, where I live it feels a bit more like fall. So since we’ve been transitioning to warmer weather; I’m wearing a ribbed black turtleneck from ASOS. I like it because it’s long sleeved, but not too thick so it’s perfect for this kind of weather. I paired it with my new favorite button up skirt from Noisy May. It’s very comfortable and I like that it can be dressed up or down. I’m also wearing a pair of lace-up, brown, oxford heels from Modcloth. My ring is from Rue 21.
I’m so excited to share with you my first blog post on my new blog! I’ve been blogging since I was eleven, and since Gabby Rose and I are older we wanted to start our own separate blogs to express our different interests. This blog will be a mix of fashion, diy, and lifestyle. I can’t wait to keep sharing posts with you! If you want you can follow me on my Instagram or Twitter @clairealena___
Since the weather has been so warm here, for my first blog post I’m wearing my new favorite spring dress. It’s a bright red, yellow and white floral print with two side slits. I paired it with a pair of reddish brown slip on sandals.
